If there is one person in the world who I will never stop looking for fashion inspiration from it's Emma Watson. Not only do I feel like I grew up with her and that she was a HUGE part of my childhood, but seeing her come out of her shell and turn into the fashion idol that she is today has been such an amazing experience. She's a risk taker and always so expected, not to mention one of them most chic young women I know! I can't wait to see what she does next. x.

QUESTION OF THE DAY:
Whats your favorite Emma Watson moment?

There is almost nothing I love more than a Demi Moore red carpet moment- and trust me there are too many to even begin to talk about! The best part about her is easily that she isn't afraid to take a chance. If you go to the archive of all of her red carpet looks you'll be shocked at some of the chances she's taken that have really paid off. If there's one thing I can take from her sense of style it's to take chances and to stand out from the crowd. x.

QUESTION OF THE DAY:
Demi Moore has been around for years. What year was your favorite of hers when it comes to fashion?!

Thanks for being patient through my short hiatus! Real life called (lame, I know). As I sit here shivering under a blanket, a mug full of warm hot chocolate next to me, and It's the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown! playing on the television I'm wondering how I'm going to make a smooth transition from the warm summer sun to this sudden very winter-like weather that just hit the east coast. One of my summer to winter trends is wearing your most summery short with a pair of tights. Whether its textured tights, plain tights, or tights with some runs in them, it's a great way to feel like it's summer while still feeling warm. I wear this trend at least once a week usually because I think it's so cute and easy to pull off!!

QUESTION OF THE DAY:
What summer trends do you like to bring to the winter season?

This time it's all about accessorizing! Today I needed an outfit that was not only casual enough to wear to class, but also professional and chic enough to wear to work at the salon afterwards! That's when I came up with this outfit! Just a plain pair of straight-leg blue jeans and a white shirt with a short front and long back and a button detail down the front. To add some interest I added a black cross and a beautiful beaded rose. To polish it off I added orange wedges which complimented the orange in the rose necklace! To add a little extra ummpphh I put on a cheetah print belt! Too perfect, right?! x.

Ahhh I love when OPI starts coming out with their new nail polishes, especially ones that celebrities design! This nail collection by Nicki Minaj is ADORABLE! I love the sparkles and I love that she included a shatter color in her collection. The collection really reflects her and I can't wait to get my hands on these colors!!

QUESTION OF THE DAY:

I have tried more than my share of different face washes and facial cleansing systems in an attempt to clear my skin over the years that I think I am probably one of the most informed people you can ask about what facial washes work for teens and young adults and which don't. Above I've compiled a picture of just a few of the ones I have in my possession right now because those are the ones most fresh in my memory. I'll go through each of them one by one to help fill you in on what I liked about each of them!

Neutrogena Makeup Remover Cleansing Towelettes in Night Calming
This is the only makeup remover I will you use. Honestly, nothing else really works to remove the makeup fully from my skin. If you're looking for a great makeup remover this is the one for you! On top of that, this is great because it comes in night calming which is not as rough on your skin right before you sleep!

Clean and Clear Acne System
The two things I have are not the entire acne system you can buy from clean and clear, but these two are probably the best two out of the system. The first is a 3-in-1 foaming acne cleaner which cleanses the skin, treats pimples, and helps to prevent future breakouts using salicylic acid. It's great and always leaves my skin feeling soft and clean! The second is the Acne Spot Treatment. It's great and it's promise to show clearer skin in one day is 100% correct. I love it! It really did help to clear my skin in a huge way.

L'OREAL Go 360 Clean
I'm sure everyone has seen the commercials for this, but apart from the dancing girls, it doesn't show you too much about the product, which is actually great! The scrubber it comes with really does help to pull up dead skin and left over makeup and the bottle has lasted me from months now! Love this!

Clean Scene by Murad
This is my newest attempt when it comes to facial cleansing and I actually got it for free when I took Dr. William Murad's class at Teen Vogue's Fashion University. I've only used it a few times, but so far I'm loving it. The full kit comes with a cleanser, and exfoliating facial scrub, two moisturizers (one for daytime, one for nighttime), and an acne spot treatment. It smells amazing and my skin is the most smooth it's every been! I highly recommend trying this system which is actually specially formulated for teens!

QUESTION OF THE DAY:
What face wash do you use or would you recommend for me?! I'm always looking for new things to try out!

From her classic nude red carpet looks to her grungey personal style, Dakota Fanning has everything a girl could want. I love the way she wearing nude dresses with tons of texture to give them some interest and the way she's not afraid to not look perfect. If you're looking for someone with an all over style then Dakota Fanning is the right girl for you.

QUESTION OF THE DAY:
Do you think it's okay to have all different types of styles rather than just having one set way of dressing?

I've been a Rachel Bilson fan ever since the O.C. and I've looked to her for fashion sense for years now. She knows how to look young and fun while still keeping her sex appeal which is something that I find a lot of young celebrities struggle with. Whether she's on the red carpet, running errands, or going to an event, she always knows the appropriate thing to wear. I would take a note from her fashion book any day.

QUESTION OF THE DAY:
Do you like Rachel's sense of style? Any favorite red carpet looks of hers?

Ahhh, there is nothing better than the smell of fresh Miu Miu! To be more specific, there is nothing better than a Miu Miu mini dress! I can never get enough of them! I live and breathe the pictures from their runway shows and while, to be honest, I'm not going to talk about too much high fashion here, Miu Miu will definitely be an exception! Second best to their mini dress are their hells! I included my person favorite in the spread above, a beautiful black heel with a white bird pattern. Their heels are so fun and can make any look more interesting! GIVE ME MORE MIU MIU!

p.s.- please bare with me while I try to figure out my favorite way to display things on my blog! It might take awhile, but I'll find something I love!! x.

QUESTION OF THE DAY:
Do you have a favorite Miu Miu piece?

I find myself looking for Alexa Chung for fashion inspiration more times that I would like to admit. Her point of view is so unique and interesting. I can't seem to get enough of it! My favorite is the way she pairs prints together. She's not afraid to pair different prints together and take a risk.

While in New York this past weekend the doorman at my hotel gave me some wonderful advice. Wear what you want and wear it like you look like a million bucks, no matter how it looks. If you look confident no one will see you any differently. I think that is exactly the mind set that Alexa Chung uses and it certainly seems to work!

QUESTION OF THE DAY:
What do you think about Alexa Chung's sense of style? Do you think you can truly wear anything and ,with a confident smile, make it look good?

Movie Review: Taken

4 out of 5 Stars.

If you like the show 24, this movie is exactly right for you! The movie follows a father as he tries to find his daughter who was kidnapped while vacationing in Paris. The movie is fairly bloody, very violent, and also very haunting. To be honest, I'm not a big fan of movies like this, but this one was very well done, interesting to watch, and also pretty scary! Especially being able to relate to the girl who was kidnapped in the movie, it certainly made you more aware! Overall a very good movie, one that I'm glad I saw, but not one that I would watch again. x.

QUESTION OF THE DAY:
Have you seen Taken? Any other action packed movies you would recommend?

Jeffrey Campbell is by far one of the most controversial designers in the shoe industry. It seems to me that you either love him or hate him. My personal opinion? LOVE! I cannot get enough of Jeffrey Campbell shoes. There are so many advantages to his shoe design that it's uncanny! The design itself is brilliant. While the heels look high and uncomfortable, due to the large front wedge the shoes are actually extremely comfortable and easy to walk in. The fun designs make it easy to find a Jeffrey Campbell shoe for any occasion. On top of that the shoes aren't as expensive as you may think! I've gotten mine for as low as 150 dollars. I would snag these up as soon as you can! x.

QUESTION OF THE DAY:
What do YOU think about Jeffrey's shoe design? Any particular design of his that you like best? Comment and let me know!
